Ex-India stars launch Football School of India

Former Indian internationals Abhishek Yadav, Shanmugam Venkatesh and Deepak Kumar Mondal have launched the “Football School of India” (FSI) at Dr. Pillai’s Global Academy in New Panvel at the outskirts of Mumbai.

The FSI would start with more than 150 children and the aim to develop youngsters, who could be the next generation of Indian footballers.

“Through our training programme, we aim to build strong contenders for the national team,” Mumbai FC and ex-India striker Abishek Yadav told at the sidelines of the official function. Abhishek will be also the president of the FSI.

The kids will be trained on artificial turf at the Dr. Pillai’s Global Academy.
