Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes is an experienced coach and he knows football. Bayern’s defeat by the hands of Chelsea FC in the UEFA Champions League final has left the coach disappointed.

“I had a great target with this team. We wanted to win this title”, Heynckes told after the match. “But I know, how horrible football can be and it doesn’t help to complain.”

“It is bitter to leave the pitch as the second placed team today,” he continued. “We wasted too many chances. We didn’t understand to convert our chances. You don’t that many chances against a team like Chelsea like we did today.”

“You need to win the match, if you take the lead in the 83rd minute,” Heynckes concluded.
