Kerala have booked their semi-final spot in the 66th edition of the Santosh Trophy with a 3-1 win against Maharashtra.
Maharashtra took an early lead through a penalty in the 7th minute, but Kerala leveled the score through Surjith VV. Surjith scored directly from a corner kick and the scoreline remained 1-1 till half-time.
A second half brace by R. Kannan secured Kerala a convincing 3-1 win and their first semi-final spot since 2006.
