India remain 164th in the world

The Indian national football team remain 164th (31st in Asia) in the latest FIFA World Ranking released on Wednesday.

India is likely to drop a few spots in the next two months, as Savio Medeira’s team has no matches lined-up in the next few months.

The Nehru Cup 2012 in August would be the next scheduled tournament for Team India.

World and European Champions Spain remain at the top of the FIFA World Ranking, while Uruguay have moved up to the second spot ahead of Germany.
