AFC U22 Championship: Oman v India kick-off time changed

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has decided to change the kick-off time of the Oman U22 v India U22 on Tuesday to avoid any distortion of competition at the AFC U22 Championship Qualifiers.

The India match will be now played simultaneously to the United Arab Emirates U22 v Iraq U22 match and both games are scheduled to kick-off at 20.00 local time.

The Indian team would face the hosts at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex, while the UAE and Iraq would clash at the Royal Oman Police Stadium.

Third ranked India are still in contention to gain a direct qualification spot for the AFC U22 Championship 2013. But Arthur Papas’ boys would rely on the result of the match played at the Royal Oman Police Stadium.

Please read following article to find out about the various scenarios, which would help the Indian team to advance from Group A:

The Indian team is ready to face the challenge against mighty Oman, but they would need additional support from Indian expats living in Muscat and other parts of Oman.

I would like to request you to attend the Oman U22 v India U22 match at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex tomorrow and to support the Indian team!
