India striker Sunil Chhetri arrived in Lisbon with huge media interest in Portugal on Wednesday. Sunil passed the mandetory medical check-up yesterday and he has already started to train with his new club Sporting Clube de Portugal.
Sunil met his new team mates and officials after the medicials and even trained with the team in the afternoon contradictory to the initial plans.
The experienced Indian international had the chance to get a first feeling of the local conditions.
Sunil and his Sporting Clube de Portugal ‘B’ Team will play a pre-season friendly match on Saturday.
