Subrata Pal: I’m happy to be here

India star Subrata Pal officially started his trial with Germany’s RB Leipzig. The Prayag United keeper joined Leipzig’s U23 team at the club facilities for training sessions yesterday evening and today.

Subrata took part in the U23 training sessions as the senior team was away on a pre-season camp in Austria and returned to their home base today.

“I’m happy to be here and to get the chance to learn,” Subrata told the media at the sidelines of a training session.

The 25-year-old Subrata arrived in the German city on Saturday and he had a few days time to acclimate himself to the local conditions.

The Indian custodian got to see the RB Leipzig facilities and the city in the first two days, while he took part at a Youth Camp organised by the German club.
