2012 NEHRU CUP: Maldives 2-1 Nepal

Maldives have registered a 2-1 win against Nepal in a 2012 Nehru Cup match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Thursday.

Maldives took an early lead through Asadulla Abdulla in the 6th minute, while Ismail Easa increased the lead in the second half.

Nepal reduced the margin in the final seconds of the match when Jumanu Rai hit the target, but the goal came to late to create any pressure on the Maldives.

Syria and Cameroon will face each other in the third match of the tournament on Friday.
