The Draw Ceremony for the UEFA Champions League 2012/13 group stage took place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco on Thursday evening.
The draw was conducted in the presence of various club representatives and former footballing greats.
The draw has produced various interesting groups as always. Defending champions Chelsea FC have been drawn into Group E along with Shakhtar Donetsk, Juventus and newcomers Nordsjælland from Denmark.
German giants FC Bayern Munich who finished runners-up last year will face Valencia, Lille and Borisov in Group F.
The most interesting group will be Group D with Real Madrid CF, Manchester City FC, AFC Ajax and Borussia Dortmund.
The Group Stage is scheduled to kick-off on September 18/19, while the last machtday will be December 4/5.
The final will take place at the Wembley Stadium on May 25, 2013.
