India star Sunil Chhetri has returned to Portugal to join his club Sporting Clube de Portugal B team after a successful 2012 Nehru Cup campaign.

Sunil met Sporting CP President Luís Godinho Lopes at Alvalade on Tuesday to talk about various issues.

One of the main topics of the meeting has been a discussion on possibilities to popularize Sporting Clube de Portugal as an international brand especially in India.

Sunil and the President exchanged their ideas and there were some interesting proposals like the launch of a Sporting Academy in India and even a tour of India by the Sporting CP B team.

Sporting are expected to launch various activities related to India in the coming weeks and months, but nothing has been disclosed yet.
