India climb one spot in FIFA World Rankings

The Indian national team has climbed one spot in the latest FIFA World Ranking released today. Wim Koevermans’ team is ranked 168th in the world and 31st in Asia with a total of 114 points.

The Maldives are the best ranked team from the South Asian region at 160th spot, while Nepal (165th) and Afghanistan (166th) are also ahead of India.

Meanwhile, Spain remain at the top of the FIFA World Ranking ahead of Germany (2nd), while Portugal made their way to the ‘Top 3’. Argentina (4th) and England (5th) complete the top spots of the ranking.
