Portuguese legend Luís Figo visited the Indian State of Goa as part of the inaugural Youth Champions League on Thursday.
The former FC Barcelona and Real Madrid superstar attended various functions in his position as a brand ambassador of the event and he even took part in an exhibition match between a GOA XI and an INDIA XI at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda.
The two teams comprised of variois I-League players and participants of the Youth Champions League. The Goan side led by Figo won the match 4-1, while the approximately 5,000 fans enjoyed watching one of the all-time superstars of the game.
