FPAI restructures the management team

The Football Players Association of India (FPAI) has announced a restructuring of its management team.

Cyrus Confectioner has been appointed as the new General Manager of the FPAI in place of Anuj Kichlu, who has shifted to a new position within the FPAI. Confectioner has previously worked with football clubs and sports management companies in India.

Anuj Kichlu will represent the FPAI in his new capacity of a Commercial & International Relations Manager besides setting up a separate commercial entity. He will be in charge of international contract standards and implementation in India, affiliation with FIFPro and continued support and membership of FIFPro for the FPAI as well as well as representing FPAI both within India and abroad for education and negotiation with clubs.

Rhys Mascarenhas will continue to work as the Head of the Goa branch, while the FPAI is looking for applications for a similar role in Mumbai.
