Sporting CP B held by Feirense

Sporting Clube de Portugal ‘B’ has been held to a 2-2 draw by CD Feirense in a Liga Orangina (Liga de Honra) match at the Estádio Municipal de Rio Maior on Wednesday.

Ricardo Esgaio gave the “green & white” side the lead from a spot kick in the 34th minute, but Jorge Gonçalves levelled the scoreline moments before the half-time whistle.

Feirense found the back of the net once again to make it 2-1 courtesy to another goal by Gonçalves in the 48th minute.

But Sporting didn’t surrender and Betinho managed to secure his team one point from the outing when he beat the Feirense keeper in the 50th minute.

India skipper Sunil Chhetri didn’t feature in the match and he spent the whole game on the bench.
