India U19 girls suffer another heavy defeat

The Indian U19 Women’s national team has suffered a second heavy defeat in an AFC U19 Championship 2013 Group B qualifier played at the Thong Nhat Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) on Monday.

The Indian girls went down to Chinese Taipei (0-7) in their first match on Saturday and the team was hoping for some good result in the second match.

But the hopes were shattered by hosts Vietnam in an one-sided affair. The Indian team had to settle for a 0-10 defeat after the Vietnamese team displayed their superiority.

India will Myanmar in their final qualifier on Wednesday.
