AIFF Inter-Academy Tournament to kick-off on December 5

The Regional Academies of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) Academies will be locking horns against each other to further hone their skills in an Inter-Academy Tournament which kick-off on Thursday (December 5) in Kolkata.

The three AIFF Academies have been clubbed in one group and matches will be played in round robin format. The teams comprise of Mumbai Academy boys (M1), Bangalore Academy boys & Mumbai Academy boys (M2), Kolkata Academy boys (K1) and Bangalore Academy boys & Kolkata Academy boys.

Along with AIFF Technical Director Rob Baan and Technical Director of Regional and Elite Academies Scott O’Donnel, Vincent Subramanium (AFC – Elite Coach Instructor), Jean Michel (former AFC Director Youth Development; presently a FIFA consultant) and Jim Selby (AFC Director Coach Education) will also be present along with national coach Wim Koevermans.
