Team Goa wins the 10th Slum Soccer National Championship

The 10th Slum Soccer National Championship 2012 took place at Delhi’s Ambedkar Stadium from December 12 to 14 and Team Goa have won the trophy after an exciting tournament.

A total of 16 teams from all over the country took part in the three day day event in the capital and 45 matches were played during the National Championship.

The Goan team emerged winners at the end of the tournament organised by “Slum Soccer”, an initiative by Krida Vikas Sanstha Nagpur (KVSN) for and by the underprivileged youth of India.
