India climbs three spots in FIFA World Rankings

The Indian national team has moved up three spots in the latest FIFA World Ranking released today. India is now ranked 166th in the world and 31st in Asia with a total of 96 points.

Vanuatu (165th) and Belize (167th) are ahead/behind India in the latest ranking, while Maldives (159th) are still the best team in South Asia.

Spain remains at the top of the table with 1606 points ahead of Germany (1437 points) and Argentina (1290 points). Italy (1165 points) and Colombia (1164 points) complete the Top 5.

Five-time FIFA World Champions Brazil are ranked 18th in the world, which is their worst-ever ranking since the introduction of the FIFA World Ranking in 1993.
