India v Palestine friendly might shift to Delhi

The India v Palestine international friendly match scheduled to take place on February 6 might be shifted to Delhi due to poor pitch conditions at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati.

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) is looking for alternative venues and it looks like Delhi is mostly likely to get the nod, while Kochi is also a possible venue according to sources. A final decision on the venue for the first international match against Palestine is expected to be announced very soon.

The India v Palestine match will be played on an official FIFA Match Day. Please [+ click here] to see the full list of FIFA Match Days in 2013.
