BREAKING NEWS: Pep Guardiola to coach Bayern Munich

Former FC Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola will take over the reins at FC Bayern Munich according to an official statement by the German club.

The management board of the German giants met on Wednesday to finalise the deal which will bring the highly coveted star coach to the Bundesliga. Guardiola has signed a contract which will see him in Munich until June 30, 2016.

The 41 year old Spaniard will replace seasoned coach Jupp Heynckes who is running out of his contract at the end of the on-going 2012/13 season.

Guardiola was the desired coach by various top European clubs including Manchester City, Chelsea FC and Manchester United.
