Baichung Bhutia to launch “BB15 Fitness & Dance Studio”

Former India skipper Baichung Bhutia will launch his very first gym named “BB15 Fitness & Dance Studio” in the Sikkimese capital Gangtok on February 28.

Baichung’s aim is to provide the best facilities to the public to keep them fit and to rise the awareness on healthy living.

“I am very passionate about fitness thoughout my life and I wan to share my passion with the people here,” Baichung told the ‘Sikkim Express’. “The main aim of this gym is to spread awareness among the people of Sikkim to stay fit and healthy.”

“Gym is not all about growing muscles but about staying healthy and fit,” Baichung added.

The “BB15 Fitness & Dance Studio” is run by Baichung and fitness expert Karma Legshey who has worked for more than eleven years in the fitness sector in New Zealand.

The gym is located in the ground floor of the Lhakar Building in the Arithang Road and it can host up to 25 people at the same time.

A total of four qualified trainers would take care of the gym members and guide them properly during the sessions.

The “BB15 Fitness & Dance Studio” will award a free membership to all Sikkimese sportsman & -woman who represented India in international tournaments, while anyone preparing for a national tournaments will be also provided time to train in the gym.

Popular dance choreographer Sonia Jaffer will team up with the “BB15 Fitness & Dance Studio” and take care of the dance classes.
