Rowilson Rodrigues replaces injured Sandesh Jhingan

United Sikkim FC defender Sandesh Jhingan who sustained a groin injury during a training session at the national team’s Preparatory Camp for the forthcoming 2014 AFC Challenge Cup Qualifiers has been released from the ongoing camp in Pune.

Dempo SC defender Rowilson Rodrigues has been named as his replacement. Rowilson joins the camp on February 23.

India is scheduled to play their first match against Chinese Taipei on March 2 followed by matches against Guam and hosts Myanmar on March 4 and March 6 respectively in the 2014 AFC Challenge Cup Qualifiers.
