Anadi Barua confirmed as India women’s national coach

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has confirmed that Anadi Barua will continue to coach the Indian women’s national team.

Barua has called-up 36 players to the preparation camp for the 2014 AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers. The camp will kick-off in Pune tomorrow and it will conclude on May 10 according to the schedule.

India’s qualifying campaign for the 2014 AFC Women’s Asian Cup will kick-off against Myanmar on May 21, before they take on Chinese Taipei (May 23) and Palestine (May 25) in the remaining Group D matches.

Palestine will be the host for Group D and the matches will be played at the Faisal Al-Husseini International Stadium in the West Bank.
