VIDEO: Road to Berlin… German Cup (DFB-Pokal) Final

UEFA Champions League and Bundesliga Champions FC Bayern Munich will take on VfB Stuttgart in the German Cup (DFB-Pokal) Final today with the aim to complete a historic title treble.

FC Bayern Munich would be the first German team to win the treble of European Cup, domestic league and national cup title. Jupp Heynckes’ team would be only the seventh European club to reach this goal. Celtic Glasgow (1967), Ajax Amsterdam (1972), PSV Eindhoven (1988), Manchester United (1999), FC Barcelona (2009) and Inter Milan (2010) are the teams on the roll of honour so far.

VfB Stuttgart are keen to spoil the Bavarian party at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. Stuttgart coach Bruno Labbadia, a former Bayern Munich striker, knows that his team will be the underdogs against the high-flying Bayern side. But he is confident that his team would give Bayern a good fight and that the new champions of Europe shouldn’t take the title for granted.

The DFB-Pokal Final will kick-off at 20.00 CET. I would like to share the “Road to Berlin” for both finalists as the clock is running down to the big season final in Germany.
