Five Shillong Lajong boys included to the India U-19 squad

The India U-19 national team, led by coach Colm Joseph Toal, will be travelling to China for an exposure trip and preparation camp for the AFC U-19 Championship qualifiers which will be held in October.

As many as five Shillong Lajong FC players namely Shaiborlang Kharpan, Rupert Nongrum, Jacob Lalrawngbawla, Zodingliana and Nim Dorjee Tamang, who are currently in the Goa camp, will be part of the exposure trip to China.

The camp will be for 15 days and they will be playing two friendly matches with the Chinese U-19 national team.

The boys will be returning to India on the August 22. They will be training in Goa for ten days and leave for another exposure trip to Dubai.

It will be a three week long final preparation camp for the boys before the AFC U-19 Championship Qualifiers in Qatar.
