India U-19 score a 4-0 win against China U-17

India’s U-19 national team defeated the Chinese U-17 national team 4-0 in a friendly match played at the Century Park Stadium, Shanghai on Saturday. The India U-19 boys scored all the goals in the first half.

Stopper-back Mohd. Sajid Dhot opened the scoring in the 18th minute only for Lalrempuia Fanai to double the lead in the 25th minute. The third goal was scored by Udanta Singh in the 35th minute while striker Daniel Lalhlimpuia completed the rout in the 42nd minute.

The Indian U-19 boys being coached by Colm Joesph Toal play the same opposition in their next match on August 19.

The tour to China is part of the preparations for the AFC U-19 Championship Qualifiers to be held in Doha in October 2013.
