HDFC Bank clinch three titles

HDFC Bank hogged the limelight winning three titles in the Standard Chartered Soccer Championship 2013, co-sponsored by Franklin Templeton and Cap Gemini and hosted by at the Phoenix Market City Mall, Kurla.

The HDFC women’s team set the ball rolling when they blanked Standard Chartered Bank 3-0 to lift the Ladies Cup. Rufina Mascarenhas scored twice and Sonal Amin one to help HDFC emerge victors.

Later in the men’s competition, HDFC ‘B’ team emulated their women, by outplaying Vodafone winning by an emphatic 5-0 margin to clinch the Elite Cup and then the HDFC ‘A’ side scored a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Cap Gemini to bag the Super Cup.

Final results – Ladies Cup: HDFC Bank 3 (Rufina Mascarenhas 2, Sonal Amin) beat Standard Chartered Bank 0.
