Shillong Lajong all set to host Sporting Clube de Goa

Shillong Lajong FC is all set to host Goan side Sporting Clube de Goa in the 3rd round of the I-League 2013-14 season at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong at 15.30 IST.

Lajong have made a good start to the 2013-14 campaign, winning the first match against Dempo SC in Goa 3-0 and playing out a goalless draw against a strong Pune FC side at home. The Reds, though will be seeking to claim their first victory over the Flaming Oranje, having never beaten the Goan outfit in their previous encounters in all competitions.

Sporting Clube, led by Oscar Bruzon, on the other hand are seeking their first win of the season, having drawn one and losing their last match against United SC. Oscar has made it known that he will be ringing in changes in the Sporting line up tomorrow and is confident that his team will stand up to the Reds’ challenge.

The match certainly promises to be a lively one, as the Reds take on the Flaming Oranje in a high octane encounter.
