Football Association of Odisha conduct AGM

The Football Association of Odisha (FAO) conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the O.C.A. Conference Hall in Cuttack on Sunday.

The meeting was presided by Debashish Samantray (President, FAO & MLA, Barabati Cuttack) in the presence of Asirbad Behera(Hon’y Secretary, O.O.A.).

The FAO has decided during the AGM that the All India Kalinga Football Tournament will be held in the month of November 2013 at Cuttack. As the All India Football Federation (AIFF) has decided to conduct the Girls Junior National Football Championship in Odisha it will be conducted in Cuttack from November 20th to December 5th, 2013.

It was also resolved that the Senior Men’s Inter District Football Championship for the Sahani Cup will be held in the month of December 2013 at Angul under the aegis of Angul Daa. Further the FAO has announced that the FAO League 2014 will be played under a new rule & regulation.

The house empowered the President & Secretary of the Football Association of Odisha to constitute two sub-committees to develop Junior Football & Women’s football.

All office bearers of the Football Association of Odisha and all the members of the FAO were present during the Annual General Meeting.
