VIDEO: Phantom goal by Kießling puts Leverkusen top of Bundesliga

Bayer 04 Leverkusen have won their Bundesliga encounter 2-1 against 1899 Hoffenheim courtesy to a controversial “goal” by Stefan Kießling moments ago.

The incident took place in the 70th minute, when a header by Kießling hit the side netting before it went in through a hole in the net. Kießling turned around in disappointment before realising that FIFA referee Felix Brych awarded his team a goal to give them a 2-0 lead.

Hoffenheim have already announced that they would lodge a protest and the are expecting nothing less a replay according to the comments after match.
