Churchill coach Mariano Dias: Most of the players are yet to click

Defending I-League champions Churchill Brother SC will take on Shillong Lajong FC in an I-League away game on Monday.

The Goan side are facing a tough challenge as they have secured just two points from their five I-League games so far.

Churchill coach Mariano Dias knows about the difficult start and the challenges for his team. “”We are in rough weather right now and most of the players are yet to click. We are also struggling with injuries,” Dias told at the pre-match press conference.

“However I’m confident the boys will give their best and get a good result,” he added.

Gabonese striker Henri Antchouet will be missed due to an injury and his absence has been an additional pressure for the Goans.

The Shillong Lajong FC v Churchill Brothers SC game will kick-off at 16.30 IST.
