Rocus Lamare replaces injured Arata

Salgaocar FC midfielder Rocus Lamare will replace injured Arata Izumi in the Indian national team squad for the upcoming friendly matches.

Pune FC’s Arata Izumi pulled his left hamstring in an Airtel I-League Round 9 clash against Bengaluru FC on Wednesday and he has been ruled out for India’s two international friendly matches against Philippines (November 15) and Nepal (November 19).

The Indian national team players assembled in Goa on Thursday and they will be practicing at the SESA Football Academy before they continue the journey to Siliguri, where the two matches will be played.
