India jump up six spots in the FIFA World Rankings

The Indian national team has gained six spots in the latest FIFA World Rankings released today.

India is now ranked 148th in the world and 27th in Asia with 149 points. Afghanistan (129th) remain the best team from the South Asian region ahead of India, the Maldives (149th), Bangladesh (156th), Nepal (165th), Sri Lanka (166th), Pakistan (167th) and Bhutan (207th).

Spain are still at the top of the FIFA World Rankings with 1507 point. Germany (2nd / 1318 pts.), Argentina (3rd / 1251 pts.), Colombia (4th / 1200 pts.) and Portugal (5th / 1172 pts.) complete the Top 5.

The next FIFA World Rankings will be released on December 19.
