India drop two spots in the FIFA World Ranking

The Indian national team has dropped two spots in the latest FIFA World Ranking released today.

Wim Koevermans’ team is now ranked 156th in the world (31st in Asia) along with Liechtenstein and Puerto Rico who have the same number of points (141).

Afghanistan (138th) remain the best team from the South Asian (SAFF) region, ahead of India, the Maldives (163rd), Bangladesh (164th), Sri Lanka (169th), Nepal (172th), Pakistan (172th) and Bhutan (207th).

There were no changes to the Top 25 of the FIFA World Ranking, which is lead by Spain ahead of Germany and Argentina.
