VIDEO: Manchester United Trophy Tour in India

Former Manchester United and Trinidad & Tobago star Dwight Yorke visited India recently as part of the United Trophy Tour.

The United Trophy Tour, delivered by DHL, was initiated by the English Premiership side following the club’s 20th title. The Barclays Premier League trophy will travel 67,000 miles, to 24 countries and more than 30 cities over five months.

English football’s most prized silverware made its stop in New Delhi and Mumbai from January 17 to 20. Dwight Yorke presented the trophy to football fans in both cities.

The former star striker took the league trophy to the Airtel’s offices in Delhi, made a surprise visit to the house of a family of Reds and met fans in the United Megastore in the Saket district.

His journey continued to Mumbai where he took part in a megastore event, besides attending events hosted by Manchester United’s associate partners Chevrolet, Airtel and Apollo.
