Kerala bounce back against Andhra Pradesh

Kerala registered a 3-1 win against Andhra Pradesh in their second 68th Santosh Trophy 2014 South Zone qualifier on Tuesday.

Usman P. opened the score sheet for Kerala in the 35th minute, when he put a cross by Jipson Justus to the back of the net.

R. Kannan doubled the lead a few minutes into the second half, just to see Syed Khaleel score a goal for Andhra Pradesh in the 58th minute.

But Usman P. restored the margin in the 70th minute to secure Kerala a 3-1 win and their first points in the South Zone qualifier for the 68th Santosh Trophy 2014.

Kerala will face Andaman & Nicobar in their next match on February 1, while Andhra Pradesh will take on Karnataka on January 30.
