Shillong Lajong U-19 to face Royal Wahingdoh FC U-19

Royal Wahingdoh FC will host Shillong Lajong FC in the ongoing U-19 I-League at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Shillong at 13.00 IST on Tuesday.

Royal Wahingdoh are coming into this match with a 2-0 win over Green Valley FC and they are expected to deliver a high tempo performance under the guidance of coach Bobby Nongbet.

After a morale boosting 2–1 win over Shillong Premier League champions Rangdajied United FC, The Reds will certainly look for nothing less than a win when they face off Royal Wahingdoh on Tuesday under the watchful eyes of coach Alison Kharsyntiew.

Coach Alison Kharsyntiew said, “The boys played well against Rangdajied and now they need to concentrate on tomorrow’s match.”

“Wahingdoh is a good side and a tough team to beat so the boys have to focus harder and deliver a good performance.”
Furthermore, Royal Wahingdoh are on their best form and the players certainly look very promising and as for Lajong, the team looks very well balanced and are also riding on a very high momentum.

Although Royal Wahingdoh and Shillong Lajong have three points each, Wahingdoh is at the top of the table due to a better goal difference.
