Kerala bows out of the Santosh Trophy with a win

Kerala has bowed out of the 68th Santosh Trophy 2014 Final Round with an 1-0 win against Services in their final match at the Kanchenjunga Stadium, Siliguri on Tuesday.

The former champions were already out of contention to qualify for the semifinals after losing two matches and winning just one ahead of the last Final Round Group A match against Services.

Nasarudeen C. scored Kerala’s lone goal of the match in the 40th minute to secure them the third spot in Group A.

Mizoram and Maharashtra advance to the semifinals from Group A.
