Goa International Football Table to take place from March 14 to 16

The 2nd Goa International Football Table (G.I.F.T.) 2014 will take place at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium, Goa University, Taleigao Plateau from March 14 to 16.

G.I.F.T. is an initiative by the Goa Football Development Council (GFDC) and it will be held for the second time after a successful event in 2013. The Goa International Football Table will host various stakeholders of all sizes that work in the football industry.

The Goa International Football Table 2014 will feature various sessions namely “G.I.F.T. 2013 – The year that was”, “Talent Scouting – Spotting the right one!”, “Community Development – Participation and Inclusion”, “Brands – Brand Building through Football” and an Awards Ceremony.

There will be also keynote addresses called “Development of Football in Emerging Markets – The Way Forward” and “Importance of honing talent to produce world class players”.

Retired South African international Mark Fish will be the chief guest of the Goa International Football Table 2014 along with double Olympian S.S. Narayan, former India captains Sukhwinder Singh, Gurdev Singh and Renedy Singh.

Sadly I won’t be able to attend the Goa International Football Table 2014, but I hope to be there next year!
