YFC Rurka Kalan Academy trials to be conducted on Saturday

Youth Football Club (YFC) Rurka Kalan, a community based grassroots football organization working for the development of underprivileged children through the medium of football, is organizing trials for junior boys on Saturday (April 12) at 9.00 IST at the Youth and Sports Complex, Rurka Kalan, Punjab.

The trials will be conducted for Under-14 boys who are born on or after January 1, 2001, to enroll them in a residential football academy situated at Rurka Kalan. The participants would be evaluated through small sided games and matches where they can showcase their skills and talent.

The shortlisted boys from the trials would be kept in the academy for one week for the final round of selection and they will be monitored physically, mentally and tactically by scientists from the Coventry University, England.

Final shortlisted boys will be enrolled in the academy and they will be given free education, boarding and lodging facility throughout the year.

It is mandatory that all participants must carry their original date of birth certificates and school certificates on the day of the trial.
