AIFF president Praful Patel meets FIFA president Joseph S. Blatter

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) president Praful Patel met FIFA president Joseph S. Blatter, FIFA Secretary General Jérôme Valcke and Thierry Regenass, Director, Member Associations and Development Vision, FIFA, to discuss various matters over India’s application to host the FIFA Club World Cup.

The meeting between the AIFF and world football governing body FIFA was held at the FIFA Headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.

Matters regarding the organisational structure of the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup which is slated to be held in India in three years time was also discussed during the meeting.

AIFF president Praful Patel will Chair the Executive Committee of the All India Football Federation in the Capital on Wednesday, May 14 and there he will update the ExCo on FIFA’s stand regarding the FIFA Club World Cup and the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
