Dempo SC and Fr. Agnel High School, Pilar renew agreement

Dempo Sports Club and Fr. Agnel High School, Pilar have agreed to extend their agreement for one more year.

Under this agreement Dempo SC will give away match and training kit and equipment to all football teams fielded by the school in various Inter School tournaments.

Besides equipment, Dempo will make available one youth coach to impart training for the school teams.

The Chairman of Dempo SC, Shrinivas Dempo said: “We had a fruitful understanding with Fr. Agnel H.S., Pilar during the last season. The Dempo Sports Club U-14 team comprising only of players from the Fr. Agnel School performed very well to become the runner’s up of the GFA U-14 tournament.”

Shrinivas Dempo expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the support and commitment of the management of the school towards development of football.

He added that this year Dempo SC will be supporting football development in the school right from the age of 8 years to 16 years.

The headmaster of Fr. Agnel H.S Pilar, Fr. Richard Crasto expressed his gratitude to the club and said: “We are thankful to Dempo SC for this partnership in football. We are hopeful that this project will provide the necessary professional expertise to the school and encourage our students to aspire for representing the club in the future.”

As part of the close cooperation between Fr. Agnel High School and Dempo Sports Club, Shrinivas Dempo announced that the club will sponsor the 4th Macabeus Rodrigues Memorial Inter-school Football Tournament on July 13, 2014.
