2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup bound colts win friendly matches

The All India Football Federation U-14 Academy outfits recorded comprehensive wins against Father Agnels (Verna) and Bethany High School respectively in their weekend friendly matches.

While Team A trounced Fr. Agnels 3-0, while Team B registered their second 9-0 triumph against the same opponents.

In the first of the two 60 minute matches, Abuthaheer opened the scoring for the U-14 colts with a fine finish after a good move down the right. Change of ends saw two more goals being pumped in quick succession as Sudipta and Abhijit Sarkar netted from tight angles to script the Boys’ third win in as many matches.

The second match saw a flurry of goals in another lopsided contest as Team B of U-14 Boys marauded to a 9-0 win with goals in both halves. The Boys found the back of the net thrice in the first essay only to double the margin in the second.

Gaston crowned the virtuoso performance with a neat second half hattrick with Rahul KP scoring a brace of goals in the first half. Ishan, Favad, Sameer and Boris were the others to get their names on the scoresheet.
