Over 60 candidates apply for AFC B Certificate Course in Kolkata

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has received over 60 applications for the upcoming AFC B Certificate Course to be held in Kolkata from September 7th – 28th.

West Bengal, as the host state for this course, was allocated ten positions. Candidates from 14 other State Associations also applied.

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) allows only 24 participants for each of their coaching courses.

As per AIFF Policy, priority is given for those coaches currently working with I-League clubs in order to meet the AFC/AIFF Club Licensing criteria. Coaches who satisfy the AFC criteria and who are actively coaching and contributing to Indian football were given next priority.

AIFF wishes all of the candidates who have applied all the best for the Course and advises them to be mentally and physically prepared for three weeks of hard work.
