Indian national teams handed tough 2014 Incheon Asian Games draws

The Indian men’s and women’s national team have been drawn to tough groups of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games football tournament at a draw ceremony conducted today.

Wim Koevermans’ U-23 boys will face the United Arab Emirates and Jordan in a three-team Group G, while the Women’s senior national team will take on hosts Korea Republic, Thailand and the Maldives.

The men’s competition will see 29 countries in eight groups in action and eleven nations will be aiming for glory in the women’s tournament.

The 2014 Incheon Asian Games will commence on September 19, but the football tournament will kick-off on September 14 – five days prior to the official opening ceremony.
