35 participants to take part in first Grassroots Programme in Assam

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) will be organising a Grassroots Programme in Assam together with the Assam Football Association (AFA) from August 27 till 29.

This course which is taking place for the first time in Assam will initially benefit those coaches who are dedicatedly involved in the grassroots coaching in the different academies in the state, than finally young footballers in the age group of 6 to 12 years of age will be benefited.

A total of 35 participants have confirmed their participation.

The Grassroots Courses is part of a major education and Grassroots Development initiative planned by the AIFF in 2014 to capitalize on the Grassroots Development Programme which kicked-off last year. The entire initiative has received tremendous response from the stakeholders in the country.
