The 2014 Soccerex Global Convention in Manchester will examine Indian football’s latest developments at a special panel discussion on Monday (September 8).
The panel named “Football’s Giant Awakens” will be moderated by Sukhvinder Singh (Managing Director, Libero Sports) and it will feature Kushal Das (General Secretary, All India Football Federation), Michael Chopra (Kerala Blasters FC & ex Newcastle / Sunderland Striker), Sunando Dhar (CEO, I-League), Rajpal Singh (Director, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) and Shirish Kulkarni (President, Liverpool International Football Academy – DSK Shivajians).
The panel will examine the explosion of the game in India, focusing upon the launch of the new Hero Indian Super League (ISL), the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, the Indian national team and much more.
The Indian football delegation at the Soccerex Global Convention will also feature various stakeholders including the likes of Lalnghinglova Hmar (Secretary, Mizoram Football Associaton), Ardeshir Jeejeebhoy (CEO, DSK Shivajians Football Club), Nitin Kukreja (President – Sports, Star India), Arup Das (Managing Trustee, India Youth Soccer Association) and myself.
