Victorino nets four in Sporting Clube de Goa's massive victory

India international Victorino Fernandes netted four times as Sporting Clube de Goa overpowered Goa Velha Sports Club 8-0 in GFA’s Goa Pro League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa on Saturday. Sporting Goa led 4-0 at the lemon break.

Boima’s Jerry karpeh’s goal for Sporting Goa was the pick of the bunch as he spectacularly lobbed the ball over the Goa Velha goalkeeper in the closing stages.

Rowllin Borges and Victorino Fernandes netted a brace each before half time to put the Flaming Oranje in a commanding position.

Changing over there was more of the same as Victorino completed his hat-trick for Sporting Goa. Young Mauvin Borges than added the sixth, before Boima weighed in with his neat chip.

In the dying minutes Sporting Goa Captain Victorino Fernandes placed in his fourth to take his tally for the season to ten and round of a scintillating victory.

After this result, Sporting Goa are in fourth place with 11 points from seven matches, while Goa Velha stay rooted to the bottom with just two points from the same number of games.
