Team India starts training in Goa

The Indian senior national team started training in Goa for the forthcoming back to back international friendlies against AFC Challenge Cup champions Palestine on October 6 and 9 respectively.

Both the matches would be held at the Kanchenjunga Stadium in Siliguri, West Bengal.

While most from the 20-member squad reached Goa on Sunday (September 28) itself the rest are joining to train with the team from today (September 29).

The 20-member squad will train in Goa at the Sesa Football Ground and leave for Siliguri on October 3, 2014.

As per the September FIFA Rankings, Palestine are ranked on 102 in comparison to India at 158.
