Mumbai City FC coach Peter Reid: We need to improve

Mumbai City FC are eagerly looking forward to bounce back in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) when they host Kerala Blasters FC at the D.Y. Patil Stadium on Sunday.

“It was just poor defending (against Chennaiyin FC) and we need to improve. Pavel (Cmovs) is back from suspension and I believe that will make us more solid in the middle,” Mumbai City FC head coach Peter Reid told at the pre-match press conference.

“(Nicolas) Anelka has got a game under his belt and Andre (Moritz) is now 100 per cent after a bout of illness. So I hope that we will be a lot stronger tomorrow,” the Englishman added.

Mumbai City FC are placed at the bottom of the league table and a win is much needed for the team which was considered as one of the top favourites to win the inaugural Hero Indian Super League title.
